Situated on the western boundary of the city, marking the end of the Limassol – Paphos motorway and at the same time the entrance to Paphos, the roundabout has become a new point of reference. A striking design draws the visitor to the city of mosaics, Paphos of Culture and History.

It is the first visual impression when arriving from the motor highway where traffic is distributed in various directions of the city. An oversized ellipsoid surface slightly folded is positioned in the center of the node in such a way that it ‘points’ to the city port. The project has combined major technical, and construction works and was completed in May 2018.

Covered in a mosaic of tiles that blend from earthy tones at the bottom to lighter, cooler shades towards the top, the design creates a gradient effect mimicking the natural transition from soil to sky, giving it a dynamic, almost living quality.
